Cerita film "Thomas and Friends" sendiri aslinya berasal dari negara Inggris sekitar tahun 1990an dan dibuat film layar lebar sekitar tahun 2000an,film ini sangat digemari dan disukai oleh anak2 dimanapun,mungkin ceritanya apik-gambarnya yang bagus serta tokohnya banyak dan lucu..sangat universal. Dan saat inipun ada film kartun yang bisa dibilang serupa dengan Thomas yakni kartun Chuggington.
